ABOUT ME

I am Dan, a forward-thinking recent graduate, learning to harness my potential and use that energy to propel me forward along the path that I eventually choose. In the meantime, undecided where to aim in the world of work, I have arrived here, halfway across the world and living the proverbial dream. I have a continuous desire to learn, and that inquisitive nature drives me to seek new experiences, such as Couchsurfing.

I am traveling with an old school friend, Matt. We decided years ago that this trip would take place, and here we are. Matt is polite, sociable and hardworking, but above all, he is an avid sportsman. We both share a passion for just about any sport that we find, and you will often find us of a day in deep conversation revolving around the latest football headlines!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a strong believer in fate. But at the same time I still believe that you make your own luck. Waiting for your dream to fall into your lap can be tedious and tiring, and while chasing that same dream can also tire you, the feeling of satisfaction when you reach it is unparalleled.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Thailand I was able to experience swimming in sea with an abundance of phosphorescent plankton. Being in total darkness in open water late at night, and then moving to reveal the glowing phenomenon all around you is like nothing I have ever witnessed.
