Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner and I have just recently packed up our wonderful lives in Sydney, Australia to hit the road and travel The America’s for the next 12 months. ( nearly 9 months in and we are loving it )

We have already stayed in many hostels, air b’n’bs and hotels, however, this trip is all about meeting new people and trying new experiences. So we want to give couch surfing a try, mainly to get a locals perspective on the place we are staying in and then play it forward once we finish then trip to keep meeting new people and draw up a new travel “to-do” list.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love most music but if I could chuck any album on at any time i would probably most enjoy Fleetwood Mac.

Love any sort of crime movie and series. Currently watching Narcos on Netflix’s and last movie I watched was all the money in the world.

Book wise one of my faves is Marching Powder.

The country, people and beaches are just the best, it’s bought so many amazing opportunities- too many to list, but one recent was a sky dive jumping over the Whitsunday islands.
