I try to travel and experience as much as I can in this busy world we live in. I was lucky to prioritize traveling in my early and mid 20s and hope to continue traveling as my life becomes more stable. I have a typical 9-5 now after years of atypical work styles! Hosting is a way for me to continue to scratch the cultural / traveler itch even when I can’t travel, as well as give back to the community that gave me so much previously.

About me- I’m a scientist and trained dancer (strange combo, but works for me!). I’m new to the area! I was living in philadelphia for 8 years previously and grew up on the Jersey shore. If you’re traveling to those areas, I can give a lot of recommendations!

As I’m new here, I’m trying to explore and learn the area- I wouldn’t be opposed to joining any fun plans while you’re here if I’m able to!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Surfed through Europe for a few months and met some amazing people and made unforgettable memories. I learned and experienced more than I ever anticipated. I hope I can provide a similar experience for others and continue to couchsurf myself

Intereses

I love all things food and drink. I love meeting new people, diving into deeper conversations and learning about others and their experiences.

I also nerd out on anything science (I have a bachelors in neuroscience and a PhD in cell and molecular biology). I now work more on the business side at a growing biotech specializing and rare and serious diseases.

I love traveling (obviously), trying new foods and recipes, going to happy hours, hiking, being on the water.

When traveling, I love a mix of city, beach, and adventure! And always scouring for the best foods from trucks on the side of the road to Michelin Star.

Favorite movies are usually comedies, mean girls, bridesmaids. I love almost famous.
