Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Eventually I'd like to be able to open our home up to couch surfers here in Alaska, once we have the guest room figured out :) But for right now I'd like to build a profile, see who's out there because we have several trips planned for this year and I'd really enjoy trying this out!

Interests

Horses, more horses... traveling... riding horses abroad. I'd love to ride Mongolian horses across Mongolia, or Irish Sport Horses cross country!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've jousted and been in a sword fight on horse back in a medieval show. It was fantastic, we made all the armor, swords, lances by hand and trained the horses for months before the show. The sword fight was a routine, and in the end I died :)
