Overview
About Me
My interests in music, neuroscience, and languages have taken me around the world. As a musicician, I worked with children with autism in England. As a Masters student in neuroscience, I studied the neural control of fertility in a neuroendocrine lab in New Zealand. As someone who loves languages, I immersed myself in the Spanish language in Spain after years of studying it in the US. Right now, I am figuring out which way I want to go in life before taking on a PhD.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Once upon a time I started a profile, but am now finally completing it after a wonderful Couchsurfing experience with my partner (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/luke-counterman). One of my favourite parts of travelling is meeting people , and Couchsurfing with my partner allowed me to meet wonderful local and like-minded people. I am hoping to start hosting in the next few months once I have a place to do so.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach harp and Spanish! I also know a bit about rock climbing, and am alsways happy to guide someone through it. I also know an odd assortment of Finnish words.
Learn: I would love to learn how to surf or play the guitar! As well as speak Finnish properly...
