I'm an Atlantian of the Sargasso Sea ... Just google my island and you'll understand. I'm here in Memphis training to be a psychiatrist in a place with desperate need for psychiatrists; thus currently a grunt. This place is Blues, Elvis, Rock and Roll, BBQ, and that uniqueness of the Tennessee/Mississppi/Arkansas tristate area. Likely all the moonshine furthers that bizarre. But I am an islander through and through, right down to prefering to approach life with a mellow mindset, the blessed rum and reggae, and that godforsaken habit they call "island time" ... Unless things get foolish and I get vocal and stubborn. It's awesome! I'm a dreamer and a proud weirdo. I'm also a hardcore intellectual and rabble rousing whippersnapper. It's a super power that I got from my momma,. (Forgive my humor as I will likely not control the puns and wit with any company)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because why not?

I have a place, I can offer a place for travelers to rest their weary heads and fill their hungry bellies.

In return I can potentially get good company, delicious home cooked meals (that I definitely don't mind paying to buy the ingredients), and reciprocity if or when I come stumbling through their corner of this here planet wild-eyed and all left feet, adventured lagged (the oft preferred cousin of jet lagged) and grinning ear-to-ear bearing gifts and probably a chocolate rum cake.

Interests

I enjoy good company, pref around a bonfire under a starry sky and full moon on a beach somewhere. But I'm on the Mississippi now so, any sort of group activities I'll take please. I need an excuse to feed my board game addiction.

I much prefer to be swimming somewhere and laying off with a book and tons of fruit, my guitar, puzzle books just relaxing. Yea and travel ... Of course ... Also a NERD. Sporty (don't tell no one). Love to hike and get dirty. Adventuring.

So yea, Empire Strikes Back of course is the best thing ever. And yea I'm a Star Wars nerd.

"Jamiroquai" and "Daft Punk" are some of my most favorite lyrical, jamming Space Cowboys. If any band could be my star fleet ship go to team in a scifi movie, it would be "Coheed and Cambria." "David Bowie" would be lord commander with "Sade" as his superior.
