I'm really quite easy going. I believe there's no point in worrying about things you have no control over, but if you can change things for the better you should. Friends and family are everything to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not able to host at the moment, but I've enjoyed it in the past. I've also really enjoyed surfing. I love meeting new people. It's a great way to get to know a place from a local perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted and surfed and enjoyed both experiences. I'd love to surf some more.

Intereses

I love to make things, cooking, sewing, crafts etc. I also really like being in the outdoors and love the countryside round Oviedo and Asturias. I like finding out of the way bars and cafés with good atmosphere and meeting interesting, like minded people.

Música, películas y libros

I love to read, anything and everything. I'm the kind of person who will read the back of a shampoo bottle in the bathroom! As far as music, I love to dance and do miss the alternative scene a bit in the UK. Having said that there are some great places to go out in here in Oviedo. My film taste is equally eclectic.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Sleeping on top of the tallest Mayan temple in existence and waking up to see the sun rise above the rainforest canopy.
Diving with sharks in Mauritius.
Climbing an active volcano as it was having (a very small!) erruption.

Hmm... I teach English for a living, and can also teach Spanish and French. I can also teach you to make crepes...
