Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn as much as I possibly can from the world around me, and try every beer.
ABOUT ME
I long to learn as much as I can from the world around me.
PHILOSOPHY
It's totally cool to be selfish - selfish in an Ayn Rand kinda way, you know, Ayn Rand - my home girl? Well basically she says that everything you do, you should do for your own self interest. Objectivism baby! And I completely agree, I give to charity, volunteer, and generally try to be a nice person because I think it makes my community and life better and more enjoyable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My spanish teacher recommended this site to me so that my traveling would not be so budget inhibited, seems cool.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
nada....yet!
Interests
I enjoy going out with friends for a couple of drinks and maybe some dancing just as much as I enjoy sitting at home, curled up with a good book. I'm always up for a conversation about politics, social issues or how to change the world. And I never turn down an opportunity to practice my Spanish!

Music, Movies, and Books
My tastes are so eclectic it's ridiculous. Movies (just a few goodies): Gladiator, United States of Leland, Mystic River, Pitch Perfect, Moulin Rouge, Braveheart, Independence Day, Matrix, Lord of the Rings, and mucho más! Music: J Cole, India Arie, Joss Stone, Rihanna, Sara Bareilles, Don Omar, Chino y Nacho, Michael Telo, Lincoln Park, Social Distortion, Lourde, Mumford and Sons...ahhh can't even think of them all! And don't get me started on books, I try to always be readings a few things - right now I am reading 20 Something Manifesto, Measuring the Networked Nonprofit, and Cosmo ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been fortunate enough to work on multiple Habitat for Humanity builds domestically and internationally and they are AMAZING!! I highly recommend Global Village trips with people you don't know. Recently I went to Guatemala and met 14 strangers that became a team and build houses for a week while getting to know the local culture and people - simply amazing. I love life.
