Hi! Im travelling on a working holiday through New Zealand after a savage 8 months in Asia. 6 months of this was spent teaching English in a random city in Vietnam where I was an unintentional celebrity. So I have plenty of good stories, that's what I can offer, good stories! I'm also a very tidy and considerate houseguest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet like minded people and get a bit of travel inspiration for my new country. I've never couchsurfed before, but its on my bucket list to try it. I think it will be fun. And this is kind of the first time travelling alone, so it'll give me a chance to meet new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught English in Hai Phong Vietnam, It was such a surreal experience. As a city with no tourists or other westeners, I took a while to settle in, and the culture shock was insane. However now, I kind of miss it, and I miss the students like crazy. I really settled into Vietnamese life and its amazing what you can used to. I met some amazing friends and cried for days when I had to leave. It was a great experience and I'll really treasure the memories.
