I have a passion to travel all around the world making friends and learning about different cultures

ABOUT ME

I'm a vivacious, resourceful, pacesetter. I love the outdoors and I'm always up for a new adventure.

My dream is to wake up each day and be excited for the adventure that awaits me. I traveled around the world in 2013 and it was an amazing adventure. I made amazing friends, had unforgettable experiences in new locations, tried new foods that I wondered how I ever lived without, and learned and grew in new areas and in areas I already shine.

The travel bug has remained through this adventure now that I am back in SF working as an engineer at a start-up I am still constantly getting out for new adventures whether it is around home or internationally. I am excited to see what adventures lie ahead and roll with the new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couch surfed many times while traveling around the world and met some of the most wonderful people. There are endless stories about how amazing couch surfers are worldwide, and it seems like there is a friend always right around the corner. I hope to be able to meet up, hang out and explore new locations, and possibly stay with couch surfers that I meet along this journey. And hopefully host soon too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completed a Half Ironman triathlon

But who wants to stop at one... I've also gone diving with Great White Sharks in Africa, ran the Original Greece Marathon from Marathon to Athens, scuba dove at the Great Barrier Reef and the Galapagos, climbed the Great Wall of China, went hot air ballooning through Turkey over Cappadocia, and hiked through New Zealand's volcano that was featured in LOTR in Mordor.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing knowledge. :) Area's I may be able to share some include amateur video making (a video I made can be found at http://youtu.be/SlSF_CEum3I ), salsa and swing dancing, running and triathlon advice, quilting, resume making, working at large corporate electronic companies (I worked at Apple for over 5 years), camping, and perhaps some mechanical engineerings. :)
