About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Searchin for my lost shaker of red pepper flakes.

ABOUT ME

I'm a high school physics teacher. I love my family and I love traveling. Always love meeting unexpected people and hearing new stories. Bailamos!

PHILOSOPHY

The world is enormous with so much to offer but it can be shrunken to a tiny playground by connecting the kind and generous people who love to share it and celebrate it. (Hopefully that's you.) Yee Haw!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting to surf around now. I currently rent a room with my high school buddy in his condo, so I don't have much to offer in terms of hosting. Once I have my own place the door will swing open.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

nothing through this website yet. I have a couple incredible stories of random strangers taking us in for a night or a week on our road trip.

Interests

I like camping, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, snow boarding, swimming... I'm learning to kite board this year. I spend a lot of time with family and friends and my girlfriend. I enjoy staying active. My friends and I drove cross country a couple of times in college and we loved it. We made a documentary film about our one trip with a 1975 Volkswagen van. We learned to live cheaply and take whatever the road is willing to give us. We love seeing beautiful places around the world and meeting interesting people.

Teach, Learn, Share

This all happens naturally when people are passionate and willing to talk to each other. This is what it's all about. Traveling is one of the best forms of education when it's done with an open mind and heart. I constantly try to help my students see this as well as the power of positive energy.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, France, Italy, Netherlands, Peru

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, United States
