ABOUT ME

Trying to pack five lives into one.

Engineer by training, business dude by passion, designer by fun.

Grew up in Idaho, went to undergrad in LA, lived in a garage working on my first two companies (1 worked, 1 failed), enrolled in a Stanford PhD program, worked for startups, left to be an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at a global design firm. I have recently left to build my next company, and am traveling to Brazil to focus on building the core IP of my next venture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I can only surf couches. Hope to host soon.

I'm stoked to build, design, play, surf, climb, hike, roll jiu-jitsu, take photos, make movies, write code, travel, teach, learn, read, get in/out of trouble, drink, go crazy, dance a fool. Occasionally I sleep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't pick one, but the memories of being 1000 feet up on the face of Half Dome in Yosemite, or surfing down the face of a 15 foot wave definitely come to mind.
