ABOUT ME

I am Dan, 22 years old, born and bred in the big crazy city of London. Having spent many years here, having a good career and a nice residence, one day, something changed...

My way of thinking shifted, my mindset morphed, and my awareness increased. I started to think about the way I was, the way the world was, and the way everything connected together. I realised that what I was doing just wasn't for me. Being part of this big system and repetative money-based lifestyle was causing me to become lost and blind.

I took a big step, a drastic one, and dropped it all...

In the last couple of months, I've quit my job in London, I've left my flat, and sold everything I own bar a backpack and supplies. I am nomad... I am free...

I am a spiritual person, but not religious. I feel the energies and waves of existence flow through me. I meditate and write as much as I can, and feel one with the universe and all of life.

I believe that life is an experience, and an experience that we need to make the best of. We develop ourselves as humans by learning, reflecting, and being present enough to analyse the choices we are presented with in a fully aware state. I believe that by bettering ourselves, by experiencing, sharing, and connecting with others, we can make this world a better place.

PS. I am a vegetarian, but will eat eggs, milk, and certain other animal products. Thought that may be important.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in oneness with all of life. I believe we identify with our thoughts, our ego's, and that humanity have lost touch with how to just "be".
I am very spiritual, but not religious. Love is my religion. However, I love to debate and chat to people from all backgrounds and cultures about their beliefs and views.
We are an infinite conscious energy living subjective temporal existence's in these bodies, and I believe this existence is one to be shared, enjoyed, and learnt from. In finding the light within ourselves, we can make this world a better place... and that is my mission!

I'm brand new to this! I've just started my new life, and I'm looking for people to share some adventures with.

Interests

I like adventure! I've been stuck in the city for too long, and love to walk, camp, climb, learn, read, write, build, create, talk, share etc. I love to talk and discuss, and embrace new things. As a nomad, I'm living on little and no money most of the time, and my adventures have only just begun... therefore, I need to learn to become self sufficient, to farm, to forage etc. Coming away with new skills helps me feel that I've developed as a human being, and I can take those skills and apply them to every day life.
