We are Danika, Roland & our two golden pups Crüe & Enzo- we are located in VICTORIA CANADA I’ve been couch-surfing for years now & I’ve finally convinced my partner to hop on board!

Traveling is a huge passion of mine & I’ve been slowly working at knocking places off my to go list. My traveling journey begun spending 2013/2014 living in Germany and then in Spain teaching English where I then had the chance to travel all of Europe! This is where I was introduced to CS. Then in 2017 I did a road trip down the USA west coast. I found myself in 2018 moving from the interior to Vancouver island & here I met Roland. In 2019 I went on a life changing trip to south India to receive medical treatment. Since returning home I begin studying Ayurveda and some of the healing modalities ( kundalini, theta healing, & reiki ) that impacted my healing & changed my life… Our envision is to one day have a healing retreat centre on our property!

If you are requesting to stay more then three days then we kindly request you use the helpx platform ( accommodation and food provided in exchange for a few hours of help around property) or are just genuinely willing to assist in anyway around the house.

This year Roland & I hope to explore more of beautiful British Columbia & look forward to hosting & connecting with other couch-surfers!

What I Can Share with Hosts

To my luck I have only had enjoyable experiences so far. I have not only used CS to host & surf places but also to meet people while living abroad. Now that I am back home Im looking forward to the opportunity to host fellow travellers!

As I know what it's like to be surfer and; a host; I'm very flexible when it comes to sharing mine or someone's else's space. I would treat you as I would wanted to be treated :) When I am your guest I am usually quite independent however i always enjoy others presence. When I am hosting you, I will be pleased to spend time with you, to show you my beautiful surroundings, explore, and to introduce you to my culture, and help you improve your English if desired ;)
