My name is Danilo, I am just a regular guy from Italy, Rome.

For the past 5 years I studied IT at a public school. One day, between typing one line of code and the other, I looked outside the window and realized what a waste that it would be to spend the rest of my life doing just that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up for the good vibes and fell in love with the culture of sharing which this community is built upon.

Interests

I am a simple man, I like good music, good food and to see green as far as my eyes allow me to.

In the beginning, it was the chase for beautiful vistas that fueled me to travel and to explore.

Only in a second moment did I discover how much I love to meet new people and to delve into their culture alongside them.

Be it a quiet hike across some mountains or a loud festival in the next town over I am up for it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music and I am always open to listening to new genres.

Literature has helped me through rough times and, although I don't read on the regular, I love to spice up my trips with a book or two, be it a fantasy novel or a philosophical treaty.

I am not much into films and movies, I prefer to hear and live stories along with those that were there to experience them first-hand.

Meeting you! Every person that I have met through couch surfing so far has had so much to share about themselves and other couchsurfers, and it's by listening to their own experience that I have been able to grow myself.

I can help you learn Italian and English, I can share all about my country's culture and I will gladly give you some tips if you wish to visit Italy.

To you, dear hosts, I offer all that I am and everything I know. I am not a chef but I can cook and clean, I am not a comedian but I'll do my best to make you laugh. During my stay, long or short that it may be, I'll do my best to make your experience as good as I am sure you will make mine.
