ABOUT ME

I just moved to Frankfurt last June from Chicago, so I'm busy learning German and enjoying Europe. I work in Darmstadt with some friends of mine I've been collaborating with for a few years, and now that the company's successful I couldn't resist coming over here. Before this I was a graduate student, and one of my last jobs before that was as a flight attendant (you can see I love traveling).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By giving people an experience of Frankfurt so they will have great memories of this beautiful city! Many people think of this as just a "business capital" but it's so lively and interesting that it deserves more visitors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very good so far. My friends Duzy and R.Dormani are very active CSers and got me started. It's a natural thing for me because I'm new to the city and have a lot of space, but I've also been to Frankfurt enough times that I know it well and like to show it off to visitors.

Interests

Watching films, walking randomly through the city, exploring old buildings, hiking in the mountains, collecting new countries, building architectural databases, spicy food, meeting people who give me energy.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to the arts I feel pretty adventurous, and tend to like unknown or unusual stuff. A few of my favorite movies include Das Kabinett des Dr. Caligari, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Les enfants terribles, 2001, Mulholland Drive, Zabriskie Point, Vertigo, etc. My musical taste is very eclectic... basically I like variety.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked for one day as a bungee jumping instructor.
