CURRENT MISSION

Traveling the world with my partner, Rachael. We quit our jobs to take a chance on traveling and breaking free of the American norm of the daily grind.

ABOUT ME

We are both from Portland, Oregon. I'm a licensed therapist (mental health) in the US and Rachael is a licensed dental hygienist, however we are both exploring new career possibilities as we explore the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Live deliberately, seek deeply.

Others are only mirrors of ourselves.

People have been my source of growth. Always interested in learning from people all around the world. Fascinated by different cultures, religions, and languages.

We are both avid mountaineers. The outdoors and nature are our therapy. In the summer, we backpack and whitewater raft. In the winter, we backcountry ski. We are active people and prefer being outside opposed to watching television.

We are also the creative types. I grew up playing music (saxophone, piano, guitar) and minored in Performing Arts in college. Rachael is a beautiful flamenco dancer and artist. She performs regularly in Portland, OR.

We are also both trained in yoga. We completed our yoga teacher training (200hr) in Mysore, India. Our hope is to offer yoga as we travel.

I hosted a ton of people during my undergraduate college educate.

Our interested are active and creative. We both love the outdoors. Rachael is a beautiful flamenco dancer and singer. I grew up playing jazz music. In the summer, we backpack and whitewater raft. In the winter, we backcountry ski.

I'm a music buff primarily in down tempo genres. Rachael loves Spanish music and powerful female vocalists.

I'm constantly reading and listening to audiobooks. Anything from SciFi to psychology.

We enjoy movies but do not watch them regularly.

Attended the 2006 winter Olympics in Torino, Italy. I also stuffed abroad there in college for 6 months. Rachael lived in Spain for 6 months as well.

We love to offer anything we can. We are both trained in yoga (Hatha, Ashtanga). I can teach a few instruments, Rachael has given voice lessons in the past. I was a volunteer backcountry ski instructor 2017/2018 with the Mazamas mountaineering club in Portland, OR.

We'd love to cook you dinner. We try and learn recipes from the countries we visit.

We can also offer yoga, music, dance, and voice lessons.

If you're a beer drinker, we'd love to take you out.

We are 'leave no trace' kinda people in that we will always clean up after ourselves
