About Me

I'm a twenty-something travelling around Europe. I've been on the road for one year and I still have some countries I need to cross out of the bucket list. I am a travel writer and a blogger. I work for an online magazine and I am also a graphic designer and illustrator. I love drawing, singing and cooking. I also like binge-watching TV shows (Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, Outlander) and reading until late hours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like travelling as a typical tourist and I really like getting to know the true essnce of the city and its people. I think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to explore a new place through different eyes. Also, I love to meet people from other countries and cultures, so it seems like the best option.I've volunteered in hostels before, so I'm good with international environments.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty much into indie music. I like singers like Regina Specktor and Ingrid Michaelson or any girl with a ukulele. Also, I enjoy a bit of the good old classics (The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, a bit of Elvis...), but I'm pretty open to listen to new things.

It is hard to choose a favourite book, but I really enjoy Alessandro Baricco, José Saramago, Jules Watson and Alexandra Manners. Lately I read the curious incident of the dog at night-time and I really enjoyed it. I like Etgar Keret's short fiction and micro stories as well.

I'm really into films and I especially like Joe Wright's work. Anything set in another time in the past is something I would watch. Fantasy is cool as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the Northern Lights, taught salsa lessons in Sweden, painted a mural in Belgium, written and directed a short film, published a short story and I ate fermented fish (amazing or stupid, I can't decide).

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak fuent English and Spanish and I can happily teach. I am also great with photoshop, taking pictures and managing social networks. I know a thing or two about cooking and I'm always willing to share my recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a good conversationalist. I make illustrations, designs, edit pictures, I can also cook and I'm always up to watch almost any movie!
