CURRENT MISSION

I want to explore the West Coast of the US and determine exactly where and how I might move out there.

ABOUT ME

I'm currently a student at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, NE. I've recently decided to change my major to Information Technology with a focus on networking, but ultimately I want to take my degree and move to California and try to become an actor. In order to do this I want to take a trip to CA over the summer perhaps and get a better grasp on how I might go about moving out there. I am not intrusive and relaxed virtually all the time. I really look forward to getting out there and seeing more of the country I've lived in all my life. I love to laugh, learn, experience new things, and explore.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everything in life comes down to one choice between love and fear. In my life, my main goal is to achieve what I seek to achieve as long as it is done out of love and not fear.

Interests

Being a nerd and a movie addict, 80% of my time is spent in front of my trusty ThinkPad watching movies or doing homework. When I decide to go out and be social I love to go to shows and concerts with my friends, or just hang out at any enjoyable locale. Generally speaking I'm not a huge fan of drinking, but given the right occasion and environment, I'm game for anything really.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classic rock, and a lot of different types of electronic music including, but not limited to, electro, dubstep, trance, drum and bass, and house. When it comes to movies, well, I could go on and on for hours about the different movies that I love, but in order to keep this description smallish I will focus on my favorite directors. These would be Paul Thomas Anderson, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Gus Van Sant, Darren Aronofsky, Peter Jackson, and Quentin Tarantino to name a few. As far as books go, I'm not an avid reader really, but I've always loved John Grisham and Stephen King.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, when it comes to things I feel I could teach to another person, I feel like my main area of expertise would be technology. I'm very knowledgeable about Windows OS as well as about a years experience with a Linux OS called Ubuntu. Beyond that I've had a couple of years of classes dealing with media creation, ie shooting videos and mini movies, and some audio production and Photoshop. I would really like to learn more about Linux and frankly how to enter into the entertainment industry, specifically acting in films.
