ABOUT ME

Hi! We love to travel and meet people. Dannielle is originally from Vancouver, Canada and Jesse is from Seattle but we've succumbed to the call of the mountains and will soon call Vancouver home. Jesse is a commercial fisherman for wild Alaskan salmon and is a medical student. Dannielle recently left her job as a management consultant to pursue studies in public health.
We're adventurists hoping to spread our love of dancing, laughing, good food, community, the outdoors and health to whomever we encounter.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We don't have a couch right now...but if we did it would be all yours! We love hosting people and once back in Canada we will definitely be opening our doors to the couch surfing community.
So for now, I guess we're sort of leeches of the community until we can give back. But! I promise we're great house guests. We're grateful, positive, clean and will absolutely respect your space and hospitality.

Interessen

We love to walk, hike, bike, run and cartwheel in the outdoors. Some would say Dannielle is obsessed with yoga. We love love love food! (who doesn't?)

We both are attempting to get into medicine and between us have interests in nutrition, global and public health, and biosciences. Don't worry though, if thats not your cup of tea we know how not to talk about ourselves.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

We're both pretty avid readers - Jesse reads more science, geopolitics, and non-fiction books that sometimes go over Dannielle's head but we both love to keep learning.

Music is also a large part of our lives - we're suckers for music festivals and gravitate towards drums in parks. Attending live music in foreign places sounds like a perfect way for us to engage a culture.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Jesse has a lot of experience in teaching/tutoring the maths. From addition through abstract university maths, if you want to learn it or talk about it - he's in. All science in general he is pretty keen on.

Dannielle is far less boring and loves her practice of yoga and would be skippy with joy to go through a primary series with folks.
