ABOUT ME

I am Danny, I love to work hard - play hard! I have always been committed to my career, but I found it was not making me happy working all the time with little time off, so now I have a new perspective.. What is the point of earning money and progressing in your career if you have no fun?

I am pretty laid back, I love traveling, being outside in nature, meeting new people and learning about foreign cultures, traditions, languages, views and general outlooks. I love a drink and a bit of banter as well, however I'm extraordinarily bad at making small talk! :(

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am still quite new to this, but I am always willing to share my things and my time with others. I am currently back in Torbay with my family and cannot take guests, but I am happy to meet people who are new to the area or just passing through. I know a lot of good places to eat and have a drink, nice walks, and I have a little boat if anybody wants to try their hand at sailing :) I also driven I am happy to help out with lifts to and from bus/train stations, houses, hostels etc.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled quite a lot and stayed in some pretty strange places, including couches.. But I have never arranged it on websites, In fact I have rarely arranged it at all..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have been involved in a lot of things over the years; construction, property development, carpentry, plastering, management and now offshore construction management, but unfortunately I cannot say I have done anything Amazing :(

I would like to learn different languages (Bulgarian, Danish, German), also Jiu Jitsu and Krav Maga. Ideally I would learn these on my travels but if there is anybody locally that can help that would be cool too.. If anybody can teach me any of the above I would really like to hear from them :)

Never assume you fully understand anything to that your way is best. If somebody thinks they have a better way, go with it. If it is better you have learned something, and if it is no better then they have learned something.

People who talk a lot only repeat what they already think or know, people who listen learn new things.

In my private live I hang out with a wide variety of people and enjoy learning about lifestyles different to my own, and the paths people have walked to get them to where they are now.

I can offer buy the food and to cook, good company, to help out with any jobs around the house, help with their English language if required, drive them to places and share my experiences and views with them :)
