I grew up all around the United States because my dad was in the military. When I was 14 we settled down just outside of DC. I am currently getting a biology and chemistry degree at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and plan on going to medical school when I graduate.

After being introduced to the idea by a friend and having a great first stay in London, I realized how great it is to be able to meet with locals, talk about the world, share a great meal or drink, and see their city.

There is very little that I truly dislike to do but some of my favorites are:
Sports (Soccer, football, diving, and basketball), Cooking (and eating), working on my 1964 Jeep CJ6 that I restored in 2013, and of course travel! My favorite things about going abroad are all the food and drinks. Back home I love to cook food from all over but while traveling you get to actually experience how they are supposed to taste in their homeland, and its one of the best ways to really experience how people live in other countries.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like to listen to rock, my favorite bands being the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and AWOLnation, and Silver Sun Pickups. My favorite movies are: the Davinci Code, the Social Network, and Les Miserables. Favorite books: Slapstick by Kurt Vonegate, Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain, and the Greater Journey by David McCullough.

I wouldn't call it amazing but I dove competitively for my university and still love to do flips and handstands off of just about anything.

I think we can all learn from and teach others new things and that is the beauty with couchsurfing. I love to learn about new cultures and ideas different than my own.
