I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois USA. Amazing city with great restaurants, impressive beer pubs and a beach front that goes for miles! I have been lucky enough to have traveled quite a bit and seen some truly beautiful landscapes. I am very new to couchsurfing but several people have told me about how positive their interactions have been and I really enjoy meeting new people. I am a HUGE music lover and am always happy to share my favorites! I think it is really important to just keep an open mind while traveling and just live life to the fullest one day at a time. The travel bug bit me long ago, and although I still think hostels are a great way to meet people I want to expand my horizons! I think that anytime you can stay with someone who actually lives in the place you are visiting, great things will happen :)

Been skydiving 4 times...highest one was in Switzerland overlooking the Alps! Just went diving at the Great Barrier Reef and am planning on bungee jumping while in Queenstown!
