Working as a primary school teacher, with loads of different interests and always ideas in my mind. Besides that I am a judo teacher and a former airforce pilot.
I love to travel around, love to ride my motorbike and just love to be around people!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I love to meet people, to exchange stories and ideas, inspire and be inspired. Since 2017 I have made 2 big motorbike trips using Couchsurfing and so far I only have positive experiences. Using CS made those trips so much more lively and unforgetable. I am very happy to say that it also brought friends for life into my life!

Same goes for hosting, it feels like a mini travel at your own place! So lovely :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

So many different books that interest me! The fiction as in Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, LOTR is just fantastic. But also the autobiography of Nelson Mandela or a book bij Coetzee, a winner of the nobel prize for literature, are good books I love to read!

For movies/series I don't really mind, not watching anything at the moment. But always happy to watch a movie or so!

I do listen to all kinds of music, just what i feel like i should listen to, from reggae to rock, jazz to hiphop, it doens't really matter. Since a while I'm playing guitar and ukulele as well, or at least trying to learn how to play ;)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Many many many things!

My trips to South Africa are unforgetable, but also my solo flights in the Airforce.
And the summer trips with my motorbike are also very high on the list!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

If you want to learn how to play guitar and/or ukulele, I can now teach you the basics and some easy songs. If you already play guitar, then you have to learn me some more haha.
I also love to have good conversations, over a beer or a wine, or to share some awesome laughs!

And if my motorbike and an extra helmet are around, let's go for a trip :)

Food, stories, good conversations, lots of laughs.
Besides that I love to play cards or other games, watch a movie or go for a hike. I'm easy going so with most things so whatever comes up, bring it on!
