Get to the next level
I'm surfing around the planet and universe to increase my collection of random experiences. My traveling is usually not destination oriented and instead centered around the people I meet and learn from.
Here is a poem that I saw written on a building while traveling . . . it expresses an important part of my personal philosophy.
When unleash takes on new meaning, the unknown is what drives you. And that thing burning inside you motivates you to make your mark on this world.
When you just say "F*** it!" There's a big idea here. We're doing this. Don't know what we'll find, but what we do know is that the journey to get there makes for a rich story. It inspires us to discover new realities, motivates us and sets us apart. Its the difference between reading the news and being what's new.
YOU CAN'T CHASE COOL.
YOU CAN CHASE AN IDEA.
YOU CAN SHOW UP & BE COUNTED.
YOU CAN DEVISE A PLAN.
YOU CAN TAKE A CHANCE.
YOU CAN EVEN FAIL.
What you can't do is sit on
your ass and wonder, "what if?"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed on many couches in exchange for good conversation and now I am a host.
Hitchhiking around the U.S. and Canada. I recently became a host in Detroit.
I'm interested in saving humanity from its fear of the unknown.
I love to discover new ideas which often take the form of music, film/photography, philosophy, and sustainable living practices.
