ABOUT ME

We got married in 2011, and, after working in New York City for about 10 years, we've decided to take some time to travel before we settle down (or decide not to!). So, we've quit our jobs and are getting ready to have all sorts of adventures: eating good food, drinking good wine, getting tragically lost in cities and on trails, running races in as many countries as we can, making new friends all over the world, and, in general, trying to leave everywhere we go a little better than we found it.

PHILOSOPHY

We like to laugh a lot, and try not to take ourselves too seriously. We spend a lot of time making fun of each other . . .

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just getting started . . . we're writing our profile after lucking into a free growler of beer - great omen! (and a perk of living in Brooklyn . . . free tastings on Saturdays).

We're leaving for our round-the-world trip in mid-March 2012, but are happy to host people before then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted a few people and loved it, and we're looking forward to surfing ourselves.

Alisha: Watched the sunrise from near the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro (it was SO cold...I had to sit down and didn't get to the top until an hour or so later ;))

Danny: New Years Eve and sunrise in an old casino on top of some mountain in Cambodia
