Teaching English in Cadiz.

ABOUT ME

I'm an English teacher who has just moved to Cadiz to spend a year or two living in Spain. I'm passionate about music, books, politics, food and living unconventionally. I've travelled the Americas, lived in Sardinia for a year and am always looking for new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

As a former Philosophy student I dislike the subject entirely but I generally believe in enjoying life while trying to have a positive effect on the world.

Stayed with a few people in the US and had a great time. Never hosted though.

Interessi

Music: playing it, writing it, listening to it. I love the guitar and also enjoy making noise on the harmonica. Reading the classics and trashy sci-fi/fantasy novels, walking, drinking wine and vodka (mainly with other people but alone if I must) and blackening my lungs with home-rolled cigarettes (trying to quit).

Musica, film e libri

Music: Beethoven, Satie, Radiohead, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley, all sorts of Latin and African music, Paco de Lucia... anything that isn't created to make money usually works for me.

Books: the classics, DH Lawrence, Dostoevsky, Kafka, Homer, Shakespeare etc... I also like some sci-fi and fantasy. Now trying to read in Spanish and going very slowly...

I did a Masters in Philosophy while working a full-time job at the same time.

Insegna, impara, condividi

I can teach guitar, cook very good Puerto Rican food, teach English and cigarette rolling. Would like to learn to speak Spanish properly and play the piano.
