I tend to work a lot and socialize in work circles. And that's a good thing, because as a nonprofit worker I am surrounded by people with the biggest hearts and most committed personalities out there.

Comedies, thrillers, and heartfelt films. Djembe drumming. Live bands at bars. Realistic fiction, memoirs, poet anthologies, the the occasional fantasy or magical realist book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most beautiful moments in my life was while hiking in the Togo Mountains. After a day of trekking we reached the summit - there were a series of waterfalls springing from a small lake, and I was overlooking the setting sun onto the Ghanaian plane.
