Travelling around Europe, singing as I go. Hoping to meet other musicians and learn some tunes.

ABOUT ME

I'm a kind-hearted wandering soul, who sings wherever he goes and tries to always see beauty in every situation. I think it's important to look for happiness - when you're sad it''s worth looking a bit harder. People say that i'm quirky - it's certainly true that I have a diverse array of interests, but that's for you to decide. For the last few years i've been almost semi-nomadic, and i'm beginning to find my feet with foreign travel. I'd love to meet up with fellow travellers, buskers, hitch-hikers, circus performers, musicians, and people with a taste for the bizarre!

PHILOSOPHY

I've always thought that it's important to find something beautiful in any situation. You usually can, if you look hard enough.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently taking advantage of the CouchSurfing experience to travel around France, staying with ace people! When I return I will hopefully be able to help out other weary travellers - at the moment I have no home, let alone a couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unofficially (i.e. not using couchsurfing) i've ended up on quite a few couches in my time. Also boats, garages, and gardens, not to mention the odd tree.

Music (especially folk and traditional music), cooking, metalwork (especially old tools and furniture), fantasy literature (Neil Gaiman, Terry Goodkind, Terry Pratchett etc) and the world in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stood on top of boulders in Huelgoat with the sun cresting the trees, and played my tin whistle.

I can teach people about traditional metalworking, or about folk music (mainly songs from England, Scotland, and Ireland)
