ABOUT ME

I am adventurous, laid back, up for anything and always pushing myself to go new places and do new and cool things. My most recent adventures include hiking the Appalachian Trail which meant living in the woods for 5 months, and fishing in Alaska (which I knew nothing about before I got there) for three months last summer. I am currently visiting my parents in Ireland and gave myself an extra week to check out another European country. Sweden had a good deal going so Stockholm I am bound. I am super excited!

Hmmm... Well, I just signed up, but I donated to the cause and am hoping I can meet some cool people this way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hitchhiked plenty in my life and when hiking the trail I had awesome experiences with people helping me out by letting me get cleaned up and sleep at their houses but it was not through this website.

Interessi

I am really open to a lot of different types of experience, but in Sweden I hope to get in city touring, including museums and exploring the city and rural parts around it, and want to meet all kinds of people and see what Swedish nightlife is like. In general I am interested in exploring cities and countrysides and love playing poker. Sports and games are great but I also like just hanging out talking over a good few drinks and I love a good smoke.

Musica, film e libri

I am not big into movies but I like Pulp Fiction, I Heart Huckabees, Little Children, Requiem for a Dream, Office Space, Old School

Music wise I like too much to list. A few good ones are MGMT, Blonde Redhead, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Andrew Bird, Wu-Tang, Rage Against the Machine, Mozart and Pink Floyd.

Books I am into recently are Herman Hesse and Faulkner books. Right now I am reading Narcissus and Goldmund and Light in August.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Hiking from Maine to Georgia along the AT was the most amazing thing I have done in my lifetime. 5 months living in the woods covering 2,175 miles and spending the last 2 months hiking and camping through snow and winter. My trail name was BEAST!
