About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring Ireland when home and the world when travelling :D Looking to meet new people from around the world.

ABOUT ME

I am from New Jersey and my partner is from Poland. My partner, Mirek, and I moved to Ireland from Poland five years ago. We bought a house and are living a peaceful life with our two dogs. We would love to meet new people and get to know friends from around the world. The gayer the better.

PHILOSOPHY

Eat dessert first because life is too short.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are now ready to start hosting in Ireland. We had a long transition period from Poland to Ireland but when we are home we are happy to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted through warmshowers.org (bike-friendly couchsurfing style website) and couchsurfing. Have met a lot of lovely people on CS travelling in Lithuania, Holland, and the UK.

Interests

Dan: staying fit, learning, relaxing, playing with my dogs, travelling. I taught in the past. I also love to cook when I find the time, which is usually the weekends so you may be in luck.

Mirek: enginering, tv, books, relaxing, wine

We like going for walks together and travelling. We also spend time in our garden and potter about in the house and mostly relax when we aren't working.

Music, Movies, and Books

Like loads of them in both Polish and English. Favorite book is probably The Master and Margarita.

Movie: Again, loads of them. Favorites would be horror.

Music: Pop through the decades

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

World Cup 2010 in South Africa. Two years in the making paid off as the trip of a lifetime with a very good friend.
