Empezé porque me encantaban las películas de Jackie Chan y Jet Lee y donde iba a natación daban clases de TKD y quedé enganchado desde el primer día. Siempre me gustó competir y lo vengo haciendo internacionalmente desde 2018. He logrado consagrarme 3ro del mundo y campeón Centro-Sur Americano. Estudio Ingeniería electrónica y espero en los próximos años recibirme y trabajar de eso. Soy una persona muy responsable, disiplinada y educada. Puedo hablar fluido en inglés y en español. Me encanta ver películas y series. Soy fanático de las historietas y manga.
Mi name is Dante Crottogini. My pronouns are he/him. I am 24 years old of which i've been practicing Taekwon-Do for 18 years. I started because i loved kung-fu action movies, specially those starting Jackie Chan and Jet Lee. The place where i used to take swimming lessons also had a TKD instructor and i was hooked since the first class. I've always liked compiting and have been doing internacionally since 2018. Among the most important achivements i'm Wolrd Vice Champion and Center and South American Champion. I am also an electronic engeneering student, close the getting my tittle. I am a very responsable, disciplined and well manered person. I love watching movies and tv series and reading manga and comics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Estoy en Couchsurfing porque el Taekwon-Do es un deporte amateur y no recibo ningún apoyo de ningún sponsor. Esto hace que viajar a competir sea algo sumamente difícil. Alojándome me estarían dando una mano enorme y estarían apoyandome para que pueda representar a Argentina en la próxima Copa del Mundo de Taekwon-Do ITF en Koper, Eslovenia, el torneo más grande de la federación.
I am in Couchsurfing because Taekwon-Do is an amateur sport and i recive no sponsorship or help from my own country or any private party at all. this makes going to international competitions very difficult since me and my family have to pay for everything. By letting me stay with you you'0d be helping me represent Argentina in the latest ITF Taekwon-Do World Cup, in Koper, Slovenia, the biggest tournament in the federation.

Me veo todas las películas pochocleras pero también me encantan las películas de culto. Entre mis películas favoritas están The Handmaiden, Catch me if you can y Master of Kung Fusion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ir a la última Copa del Mundo, en Sidney, Australia. Fue mi primer viaje por mi cuenta, mi primera competencia internacional y una aventura increíble. Animarme a hacer eso es de las mejores decisiones que he tomado.
Going to the last World Cup, in Sidney, Australia. It was my first trip on my own and my first internacional competition. It was crazy going half way across the world but it was one of the best desicions i've ever made

Un gran intercambio cultural en cuanto a lo musical. El rock argentino es de la mejor música del mundo pero no es tan reconocido así que puedo introducirlos a algunos de los mejores músicos que ni saben que existen. También puedo dar clases de Taekwon-Do o boxeo. Puedo hablar de manga y comics durante horas. Puedo cocinar, hacer empanadas, alfajores y enseñarles a tomar mate.
I can offer a great cultural exchange, specially when it comes to music. Argentinian rock has some of the best musics and mussicians the world has to offer and are often overlooked and under apreciated. I can also give Taekwon-Do or boxing lessons. I can talk about manga and comics for hours. I can also cook, i know how to make empanadas and alfajores and i can teach you how to drink mate.
