CURRENT MISSION

Happiness. Is it a characteristic? A mind-set? Do you pursue it? Much like poverty, I prefer to call it a consequence, one being rather unfortunate and one being a rather unattainable (subjectively) pursuit. It's not a destination. Happiness is a way of life!! I've found that nothing really pleases me more than putting a smile on someone's face. We have such a limited time here, why not "Kill them with kindness". While I figure out what truly makes me happy or rather spend countless hours trying to find meaning in happiness, I intend on putting as many smiles on people's faces as I can.

ABOUT ME

I've lived and I've loved, I've lost, but it's never enough. When I say i'm very fortunate, even lucky, to be here, I assure you i'm not just blowing smoke. Yet, I understand my life has certainly been easier than many. I've had the privilege to travel around the world (Not even close to enough places as I would like)through hard work and dedication. Everyday is a new adventure and even more so language shapes experience. I could dwell on past downfalls and tribulations or choose to accept them for their face value. I'm open to speak about anything. We all have our opinions and ideologies and I enjoy the perspective.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that there are two ways to look at how the world develops: the first is through the progress of history and human civilization, and the second is through the progress of knowledge and human understanding....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mostly hosted and surfed a few couches, but hopefully soon I can be on the surfing side more, as I'm starting to travel again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have ended up on couches I probably did not intend to wake up on. But I have NEVER had a bad experience hosting or surfing!!

If it sounds good, it probably is good. No preference with music, I enjoy all kinds. Movies the same. As far as books, I love fiction loosely similar to real life situations. i.e.:Ian Flemming's, James bond series or Barry Eisler's, John Rain series. As well as self help and history novels.

Swam with sharks, cliff jumps, sky diving, etc...life is still an adventure that is no where near done for me.
