kindness and warmth, as much and as often as possible. the way you interact with people when you travel, the spontaneity, the enthusiasm, the lack of inhibition ... as much as possible, this energy should be present in everyday life, at home or abroad.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

always interested in hearing from travellers and locals alike, can occasionally host people, always keen for a meet up and drink. i think melbourne is a wonderful city and so showing folks what i love about the place is a joy to me. i also have a habit of 'promoting' CS to every third person i speak to. how can i not? it made my trip what it was.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

travelled through europe and the UK, surfing the couches of excellent, wonderful, incredibly fun people. they all made my travels special and unique, each city was what it was thanks to them.
i've hosted a few people and am usually free for a coffee or drink, depending on what's going on, and can host, too.
