Hey, I´m Dan. I´m thirty one and I love to travel and to meet people. I am easy going and relaxed to fault some of the time. I´ve been self employed for years and like to see some of the world. I'll try anything and I like to put a smile on people´s faces.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've now bought a boat so will be able to host people when I get back from Germany. To be found in varying parts of the UK, you'll have to ask and find out :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled around in Spain last year and stayed with various people and met for a drink with others. It was great to get to meet people beyond hostels and campsites, definitely a goood way to travel.

Books, lots of books. Almost anything from classic to contemporary though I shall always have a special place in my heart for sci-fi. At the moment mostly non-fiction, particularly Spanish grammar.
Music, rock, folk and lots of other stuff. I like to listen and I like to play.

Got to look around the Gemini telescope on Mauna Kea where my friend works. It´s amazing and they have a ufo in the basement.

I would like to learn anything new, particularly some more Spanish at the moment. As far as what I can teach, I consider myself to be full of lots of useless information I am always happy to disseminate, plus if you need to know how to fix most things round the house then I´m your man.
