About Me
I graduated with a degree in Environmental Design from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba. Currently I work designing wine cellars for people with a kind of wealth I’ll never see. Haha! Lived in Canada my entire life with an insatiable desire to see the rest of this big beautiful world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost all music and usually match what I'm listening to to my mood and surroundings. Lately it's been a lot of ambient tunes while at work and CBC Radio 2 while on the road.
Fan of all sorts of movies but action movies are tops. Bigger fan of shows though because of the quality of story they can tell. My favourites are Game of Thrones, Vikings, Marco Polo, House of Cards and Planet Earth.
I love to read. It's something that's been sorely missing from my life lately. I like to mix it up with books on Mythology and Theology, graphic novels and classic literature. I've got a special fondness for sci-fi and fantasy though like A Song of Ice and Fire and the Stormlight Archive. Currently reading ‘All my Puny Sorrows’, by Miriam Toews and Haruki Murakami’s ‘Kafka on the Shore’.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach what I know but as I get older I realize that I know less and less than I thought I did. I especially love to teach people about plants and learn from those who know more than me. I want to learn everything. Especially languages. French is first on the list, then German and Spanish.
