Hey guys,

I'm Daniel and 24 years old and have the privilege and time to travel around NZ. Currently Kira a friend of mine and me decided to discover this beautiful country together and meet new people from all over the world. I'm an educated nurse since last year October and still waiting for a free spot in Germany to study medicine. It was definitely time to try something new and get out my comfort zone at home.
I arrived NZ in November last year and travelled up north to Whangarei, Paihia and the 90 Mile Beach yet. The last time I was wwoofing with Kira at different hosts to catch up with some locals and learning something about the kiwi culture at first hand.
I'm an open-minded, friendly person who wants to improve my English. So what could be better than staying with locals and international people to reach this goal?
I'm my free time I like to do sports (beach and normal volleyball, running) and in winter skiing for fun and to stay fit. Besides to that I like to meet friends, watch some new movies in cinema (especially Marvel movies), go to the pub to have some beers. Not that much into clubbing but never say never if I meet the right people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new on this site but hear so much good responses from friends back in Germany who are using this to travel all around.
As I said I like to meet new people to share stories and spending time together. Here in NZ you can discover so many better places offside if you can get tips from locals.

Open to any kind of music!
Especially like marvel movies because my oldest brother has some nice comics at home that I've read when I was a kid. Next to that I like some good thriller and action movies .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As you can see on my profile picture I spent time on my 24th birthday at the Whangarei Falls. We decided to swim in that under the waterfall and it was an amazing experience and my first fall to see ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you german which is kind of difficult for people to learn so if your keen just hit me up. What I want to learn here in New Zealand is definitely to improve my English skills. Actually it's hard to speak English sometimes on travel because there are so many Germans around here that don't want to change to English. Furthermore what I can share: bad and good stories about my time in NZ and others about travelling europe and living in Germany.
