I don't know if it's that amazing but I recall it as a great adventure - I travelled by hitchhiking in Turkey and thanks to that I met a lot of nice people. That's why This website sounds like a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world and experience something different than just traditional travelling based on hotels, tours and things like that.
