I think "about me" and "my interests" should just be one box because I can't describe one without discussing the other. I'm a rising junior studying Psychology at Boston University. I'm from Miami, but I have no real desire to ever live there again even though I love visiting.

I have several jobs that tend to consume my life. I'm a Research Assistant for a lab working on suicidality, NSSI, and emotion regulation. I'm also a Research Assistant at a Child Development Lab which means that at the end of the day, my coworkers and I sometimes discuss how our faces are sore from smiling so much. However, that's a frequent occurrence for me even when I'm not hanging out with cute children.

I also work at Starbucks and clean a yoga studio in exchange for free yoga. If I'm not at work or sleeping or eating, I'm most likely practicing yoga. I want to teach yoga classes everywhere and I want everyone to practice yoga and love it as much as I do. I think Hurdler's Pose is my current favorite pose but that will likely change in the v near future.

I also really love to play the violin even though it's not my career path anymore. Talking about music (classical, jazz, broadway, anything) is one of my favorite things to do and I would probably love to discuss music with you.

I'm also a pescetarian, leaning towards veganism, and animals are just about as important to me as my best friends and family members but I'm the least preachy vege-person you'll ever meet because I honestly think that everyone should do what makes them happy because they'll end up spreading more positivity.

I'd always prefer to be outdoors, unless its cold, and I'd probably prefer to just talk (about everything) rather than go out. I have very cute dogs and sisters who I love a lot and friends that make me feel lucky to even have the opportunity to miss them when they're in different places in the world.

I'm really excited to meet new people and travel and I'm sure that one day I will be a host and not just a surfer, once I move out of my shared bedroom (and bed) in my tiny apartment in Allston.

I also listen to a lot of classical music. My favorite composers are Elgar, Debussy, and Bach. Nimrod from the Enigma Variations is my favorite piece of music and will play at my wedding if I were to ever get married.
