ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet new people, because one can always learn from others and their ways and experiences. I can't travel as much as I would like for the moment, but I hope it isn't going to get better! So, if you are in Normandy and want to get a drink with a local, give me a wave! I can give you useful tips about what to see and what to do in the countryside and in the city.
Also, I'm currently re-building a viking village with an association, to learn how things were done in the 11th century! So far, I've learned wood carving (viking patterns) and how to realise a thatched roof.
I like to read, espacially scandinavian detective novels, to go out and talk with friend, and above all, to learn new things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a really nice experience with two really nice hosts in Quebec and Montreal, and I hosted a couchsurfer from Latvia at my appartement in Caen.

Interests

Taking walks at the beach, in the mountains, in the countryside. Meeting new people. Horse-riding all around the world. Discovering new countries. Having a nice meal with friend. Reading. Learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many music types. I mostly listen to independant rock but I like to listen to classical music every now and then.

I love fantasy books (J.R.R. Tolkien, R.E. Feist, Robin Hobb, George R.R. Martin...), but also classical French and English litterature. Actually, I'm in my detective novel period and I mostly read Scandinavian authors.

I enjoy going to a bar to have a drink a a nice chat with my friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Following the tracks of a pack of wolves in the Alps.
Riding at full gallop on a beach in Brittany and then swimming with my horse in the sea.
Having a really nice party with Japanese and French friends, and not knowing in which langage you speak or are spoken to.
