Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much official couchsurfing experience. I joined because in my travels I have had different people take me in without knowing much about me. I would like to return the favor to other travelers and also have the opportunity to couchsurf when I have time to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: My heart resonates mostly with folk, blues, and world music. Recent concerts include Ana Tijoux, Andrew Bird, and Avett Brothers. Love checking out new venues.

Books: I have been into memoirs, local history and mythology lately. Some authors that have inspired me recently are Joseph Campbell, Rebecca Solnit and Barbara Kingsolver. Most recent purchases were a book on the History of Oakland and A Short History of Myths.
