About Me

CURRENT MISSION

meet kind and intellegent people to share life's views with.

PHILOSOPHY

I am spontaneous and honest. (Sometimes to a fault)I do things that some people call risky, (again, see amazing things I've done) I am an optimist. I always look for the best in others. I believe that all religions have the same God.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to help others and myself learn more about different cultures and ways of thinking. I enjoy the barter system as we all have something important to contribute to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never "officially couch surfed" (via this site), but have done some spontaneous crashing in my life. (see amazing things I've done)

Interests

A great read, a beautiful hike, an interesting conversation, traveling to places different than I've ever seen, wine tasting, fresh and wonderful foods, meeting new people, cruising the internet, a brilliant movie, walking in the rain (I know... cliche, but it's true. Hey, I live in Oregon!)Hiking, letterboxing, honesty.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate a wide variety of music, belong to a book club and enjoy a variety of movies, from comedy, to warm and fuzzy to intellectually stimulating. I do not enjoy stupid, vulgar humor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 20, I decided to hitchhike across the country without any money. I didn't have any money anyway, but the point was to see what would happen. I took my dog and a small amount of dog food. I didn't tell anyone I didn't have any money, and I didn't work or share my body for money. I never went hungry and I never lacked for anything. Serendipity happened daily, and I found my own version of God.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have the skill to be my own spontaneous, positive self. I've raised a happy confident child, and my dog and cat are well behaved and affectionate. Hmmm, so what can I teach you? Who knows! I want desperately to learn to speak spanish.
