ABOUT ME

I grew up in Alaska, but I live in Colorado now. I'm passionate and extroverted, but I also enjoy spending quiet time alone. I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I'm very spiritual but I don't really do organized religion. I love to dance and I LOVE live music. I still like to go out and party occasionally, but I rage sober these days. I really, REALLY like costumes and dressing up- mostly because I love to make people laugh and smile. I enjoy small towns with character and quirky people. I love dogs and most other animals (I have 3 dogs at home)!
Some of my favorite things:
Faeries, yoga on the beach, the feeling of mud between my toes, that moment when you are no longer moving yourself- the music is moving you, and the smell of wet tundra in the fall.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live everyday being true to myself and not let fear keep me from living out my dreams.

I just discovered this website... so I haven't participated much I guess. But I've been letting people sleep on my couches for years, and I've slept on quite a few myself.

I could go on for awhile.

Books:
Anything by Paulo Coelho or Tom Robbins... My favorite book of all time is probably "Another Roadside Attraction" by Tom Robbins. Jack Kerouac definitely helped shape my teenage years. Aside from that, I love books on yogis, and psychological and spiritual transformation. I also love fantasy books with dragons, witches, and faeries, etc. Yes... I'm a girl.

Movies:
I LOVE all of Wes Anderson's movies, The Princess Bride, Stardust, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Finding Nemo, old Disney cartoons, The Muppet Movies, anything made by Jim Henson- particularly the Labrynth and The Dark Crystal; A Room With A View, Pride and Prejudice, North and South, Battlestar Galactica...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I feel like I've been blessed with so many amazing moments in my life. A few that have extra meaning for myself are:

-Climbing Denali (Mt. Mckinley) with my father and brother when I was 17

-Growing up in the bush of Alaska with sled dogs and living in a cabin with no electricity or hot water

-Going on tour with my favorite bands and meeting people from all over the country- sharing a moment of our lives together with incredible music

-Meeting so many wonderful people around the world

Lets see... I can teach yoga, meditation, and sewing. I can teach anyone how to ski. I'm a pretty good cook, so I could share some yummy food :) I always enjoy sharing music too.
