ABOUT ME

I'm a flutist making my way in NY teaching and freelancing. I love music of all kinds - especially live. Second only to music is my passion for food. I love cooking for friends, family and strangers. My favorite thing to cook is something I've never cooked before. I love vegan eats, cheap eats and local cuisine. I'm always looking to brush up my Italian, go on a hike, get lost in a real conversation or go for a drive.

Since college I've been using it to travel with my buddy Tim whenever we can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In college I did a semester in Italy and used Couchsurfing to throughour Europe on the weekends. I met so many great people I never would have met other wise.

Interests

music, opera, ballet, the new Arrested Development season, the resistance, Harry Potter, hiking, veganism, sex ed and equality of the sexes, cool kitchen gadgets, national parks, making a living and hacking this crazy time, ordering too much food with a friend and going to town, pondering if I want to build a tiny house or do a van conversion in 5 years, the YouTube channel Pasta Grannies, minimalism, porches with Christmas lights, sleeping outdoors, Alexander Technique and of course - dogs.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach private flute and piano lessons to kids of all ages and music direct children's theater and love giving all the advice I've been fortunate enough to collect to the next generation of music makers. Maybe I can give you a lesson when I crash?! What can you teach me?
