About Me
hii :)
I’m Daria (or Dasha, if you want to sound like my true russian friend haha), I’m originally russian, but it’s been 6 years how I’m living in Budapest
I’m 22yo, I graduated from Media and Communication program and now working at marketing (actually my position called Marketing Quality Check Specialist - nonsense, complete nonsense)
I’m madly in love with Budapest and I very enjoy having people at my place and showing them around, so we all become madly in love with this city
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I made an interrail trip with my friend four years ago, where we stayed in some cities using this app. The amount of lovely people we met was uncountable, everyone was so helpful, kind and open. It truly surprised me, as I used to grow in a society of very closed people. Then some years passed and I decided that I want to be a host myself, so I hosted amazing people at my flat, with some we still have a connection after years. Now I have a great space and I miss the vibes of couchsurfing, I want to talk to people and show around, making some beautiful connections, so I’m back again :)

Music, Movies, and Books
for music it must be something from post-punk, or 2000s pop russian haha
for movies it must be romcoms, or some great comedies
but detectives are in the list too!
used to read a lot some years back, but now… not really (i kinda judge myself for that)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
did a month of interrailing
slept in the airport of Madrid because decided to eat more tapas and missed the train
learned a card trick from a Spanish friend (already forgot it)
trusted this world and never ended up in any danger, only love and friendship
What I Can Share with Hosts
discussing art and cinema, funny and unusual Russian traditions, travel talks
we can discuss literally anything, starting from analysis of slavic stare, ending with roman empire, it’s just the matter of flow
