ABOUT ME

I have been described as a whirlwind. I don't think of this as negative, since I never leave damage, only friendliness. I see myself as someone I am still getting to know.

I'm a goofball. If you don't laugh and have fun, you're missing out.

I'm polite, honest, funny, can cook AND clean, and won't go through your dresser drawers.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a tiny piece of sand but can wear down even the most stubborn land. :)

I have a green philosophy, but don't think they'll let me put that here. ;-P

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to bring more goodness to the world and eventually help other travelers out. Hawai‘i has taught me about real friends, letting go, letting people in and trusting that everything that happens will get you somewhere better later.

When people ask why I travel alone, I have so many answers that I usually end up asking, "Why not?" I won't wait around for someone to join me, just to never get to go. It's great to see so many other people doing it, having fun and being safe!

Interests

CYCLING! I love my commuter bike like a boyfriend and can't wait to also own a road bike.

Swimming in clear waters, or cold waters, in waterfalls and endless lakes. Local kids call me mermaid. It makes my soul happy.

I am obsessed with the outdoors, new cultures, getting lost and then finding my way. Smiling at strangers and shopping at small outdoor markets. Reading a book and dribbling food on it.

Music, Movies, and Books

This section is impossible to fill out. There's just too much and I have to sleep at some point!

I love every type of music except Death Metal and Pop Country and most Pop. I can be found on the dance floor at clubs.

Books.....I love them. Don't ever ever ever burn or mutilate them. It's like erasing someone's soul.

I had open heart surgery. It changed my spirit for the better.

Teach, Learn, Share

Honolulu and I are great friends. I know lots of places, cheap stuff, good food and what to expect outside of Waikiki. I can get you there by bus, car, walking and bike. Plus there are some places you just can't miss! Especially if you like to brunch, then cruise the beach, BBQ and finally hit the town hard. I also know much about O‘ahu and can also point you at cool stuff on other islands.
