ABOUT ME

I love music, reading, adventures, movies, learning new things, staying active, bad jokes, laughing at my own jokes and meeting new people. I live in Seattle, Washington where I am studying a doctoral degree in Orchestral Conducting. Previously, I lived for nine years in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico where I was an oboist in a professional orchestra and the conductor of a youth orchestra and choir.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that what comes around goes around so I try to be good to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My good friends traveled extensively in Europe as well as a long road trip in the US. They even stayed at my place in Boulder, CO for a couple of weeks on their trip even though I wasn't a member of CS at the time. Without CS they would not have had some of the best travel experiences that they did. I hope to use CS as a way to explore and meet new people. I previously lived in Culiacán, Sinaloa Mexico for nine years where I was not using CS often. I'm currently in Seattle, WA.

There are too many movies I like to name but here are just a couple that I really like. Coco, The Big Lebowski, Black Hawk Down, Finding Nemo, Pulp Fiction, A Mighty Wind, Best in Show, Walk Hard, etc, etc...

Music is another impossible task to narrow down. I am a classical musician and I really enjoy the music of Bach and Beethoven and tons of other great composers. I'm always looking for new music and new sounds.

When I have time I love to read. I've enjoyed everything I've read of Bill Bryson including A Walk in the Woods and Short History of Nearly Everything. Besides that I enjoyed White Tiger, In Cold Blood, Evening in The Palace of Reason, Killers of the Flower Moon and the Repairman Jack novels to name a few.
