ABOUT ME

I'm a recent graduate recently freed from school and looking to do a little traveling! I was born and raised in California, loving (almost) every minute of it, but love to travel and see what other kinds of wonderful places and people this world has to offer.

I have pretty diverse interests, and have worked in fields like custom sheet metal fabrication, at an after-school program for inner city kids, for a fire department, and for a PR firm. In school I studied Pre-med Biology, Public Administration, German and Russian. I like to keep myself on my toes, so to speak.

When I travel, I like to do a mix of touristy and not-so-touristy things. For example, I always bring my giant camera with me everywhere, taking pictures of landmarks, and I'll probably buy a t-shirt that says "I <3 (name of your city)" and wear it proudly, but I definitely appreciate things like searching out the hangout spots and eateries for locals, and I think that Couchsurfing will be an awesome way to do that.

PHILOSOPHY

I couldn't imagine a way to fit this into a small text box. I suppose that's why meeting people is still useful, even in the internet age.

Interests

I love LOTS of different kinds of music...always looking for new things to expand my horizons in that sense. At the risk of boring you, I'll only name my top 100 favorites or so in roughly chronological order.
