My name is Daria and I’m Ukrainian 🇺🇦

I escaped from this horrible war in my native country. I was in Kharkiv before war started and spent 8 days and nights in bunker under bombing. I was so scared for my life and life of my relatives, neighbors and friends , so I decided to safe my family. With help and support of my friends I took my Mom (71) and Aunt (67) and also my neighbor with her daughter and was driving through all Ukraine to the west for 8 days. That’s how me and my relatives got to Poland.
One great polish family gave us an accommodation for almost 1 months, I’m really appreciate these great people for their support and endless love.
We made all preparation in Europe and now we are in NYC, USA.

I’m not sure how long war will last. I hope we can go back home one day 😣 but now I need your support guys, because I want to continue my living, I understand I need to put myself together and start my life from zero.
I would really appreciate for any help 🙏🏻

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used this platform before and met such a great people 🤩 they came to my city and I visited some countries as well.
Now I think to settle down in US, start new life, I want to find new friends, and maybe even a relationship. I want to go on living, cause it’s hard to smile when you have this horrible pain inside you 😔 I love Ukraine 🇺🇦 and Ukrainians, I love people and I hope all of us will stand with Ukraine for a better world 🌎
