- participated in an international writers program ("Between the Lines"), and spent two weeks workshopping in University of Iowa
- currently enrolled in a competitive exchange merit-based scholarship (YEAR Program)
- published my short story, and participated in poetry readings
- taught English through cultural studies in 3 different high schools
- traveled around Russia in order to make an article about the truck-drivers protests
